Spring Fever vs. Winter Frustration

What do you think?
If there was only summer and no winter, would there be more people on earth?
Would there be spring fever all the time?
Would it be more animating if it was spring all the time?
Would it necessarily cause the birthrate to sky-rocket?

Hmmm. Well if there is only summer, and summer is really hot, then I am not so sure there would be overpopulation. In really hot climates, life slows down a bit, people unaccustomed to the heat complain about being uncomfortable. So my thought would be, no, people would procreate less.
Spring, though, might be another question. It would be interesting to find statistics for areas of the world that feature specific climates and look at their population rates.
Interesting questions.
